Two pieces of brass wire twist and sway on the 50 foot wire. Ever so lightly, twangs the wire. The wire contacts the magnetic pickup and transfers vibrations directly.

Using metal ribbons, very interesting sounds, Leif.  I may try using steel shipping strap material. Magnetic material work best with my homemade guitar pickups.

good going Bill you'll really like the longer 22 ga. brass wire...lend an ear to bonuses (MP4) as sounded on my 200' 1/2" brass windribbon

soft attachments w/hot gluegun-applied: feathers, short cotton string...etc
