About Me:

B.Ed (Art) M.Ed (The Arts)- Visual Arts teacher since 1986-working in Sydney, Central Coast and Riverina.
Currently Head Teacher Administration and Visual Arts teacher at Temora HS.
Co-ordinator of Case Study in a Day Gosford Regional Gallery 2004-2005. Focus Fest presenter AGNSW 2004, ConnectED workplacement scholarship at MCA-Sydney 2009.
My primary interest is ensuring that the authentic artists' voice is in Visual Arts education. I wish to avoid overly mediated versions of the artists' intentions and purpose in making artworks in the teaching about contemporary art. I also want to ensure that students in rural contexts have access to authentic artworld experience.
